PEC Plus: Una extensión útil para PEC (E-SUS Atenção Básica)

PEC Plus is an extension that connects to the Electronic Medical Record (PEC E-SUS) to provide timely guidance to doctors or nurses during consultations in Primary Health Care.

To use the extension, access to PEC is required.

During the consultation, the tool assists the healthcare professional by offering suggestions and guidance based on the selected information in the "Assessment" field of the SOAP.

Compulsory notification diseases or conditions:

In the assessment field, when selecting a compulsory notification disease or condition, according to GM/MS Ordinance No. 217, of March 1, 2023, the healthcare professional will see a message guiding them on filling out the SINAN form, with a link to download a copy of the SINAN form and another link to the Ministry of Health's page with a list of all compulsory notification diseases or conditions.

Longitudinal monitoring scores:

The tool suggests filling out scores based on the selected problem. For example, if the professional reports an anxiety disorder, PEC Plus suggests filling out the GAD-7 score. For depressive disorders, the PHQ-9 is suggested. For dementia syndromes, a form with the Mini-Mental State Examination is suggested.

MRPA and glycemic diary templates:

In the "Plans" field, when requesting MRPA or a glycemic diary/map, the tool offers a PDF template for printing.
